The severall habits of English women

Today I stumbled upon these gorgeous etchings of women by Wenceslaus Hollar. The lovely detail provides a fascinating insight into women's fashion in the mid-seventeenth century, even down to the shoes. All images are taken from The severall habits of English women, from the nobilitie: to the contry woman, as they are in these times, Wenceslaus Hollar (1640).
